The Profiles range of
assessments measure personal preference and performance against a normative
range for the working population – what does this mean for you? Some type testing psychometric methods
measure you just against you and a range of specified types – you could be
pigeon holed as a type A or B that generically reacts in a standard manner; but
the testing system we use compares you against a normative population of other
workers (the extensive general working population who have also used this test
method and if desired, your peers or manager).
This means the results compare you or your employee to ‘real’ others,
not generic groups, and therefore point to specific personal development needs
rather than describing how a group of people with similar choices to you might
react or need to be developed.
